Quick Start Guide
Get your first monitor up and running in under 5 minutes! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to start monitoring your services with StatusPageOne.
Step 1: Create Your Account
If you haven't already, sign up for a free StatusPageOne account. No credit card required to get started!
New accounts get 14 days free access to all features. Perfect for testing and setting up your monitoring strategy.
Step 2: Add Your First Monitor
Once you're logged in, let's create your first monitor:
- Navigate to Monitors: Click on "Monitors" in the main navigation
- Click "Add Monitor": You'll find this button in the top right corner
- Choose Monitor Type: Select "HTTP/HTTPS" for website monitoring
- Enter Your URL: Add the URL you want to monitor (e.g.,
https://yourwebsite.com
) - Set Check Interval: Start with 1 minute (you can change this later)
- Click "Create Monitor"

Step 3: Configure Notifications
Don't miss important alerts! Set up your notification preferences:
- Go to Notification Settings: Click on your profile β "Notifications"
- Add Email Notifications: Your account email is added by default

- Navigate to Status Pages: Click "Status Pages" in the main menu
- Click "Create Status Page": Start building your first status page
- Choose a Subdomain: Pick something like

- Add Your Monitors: Select which monitors to display publicly
- Customize Appearance: Upload your logo and choose colors
- Publish Your Page: Make it live for your users

- Trigger Test Alert: Use the "Send Test Alert" button in monitor settings
- Check Your Inbox: Ensure you receive the test notification
- Verify Slack/Discord: If configured, check team channels

- Check Monitor Display: Verify your monitors show as "Operational"

Yes! StatusPageOne can monitor any publicly accessible endpoint. For internal services, you can use IP whitelisting or create a simple health check endpoint that we can monitor externally.
